Dachstein Pleasure Jam 06
We came to Dachstein staright from Hintertux on friday evening. We didnt plan to party hard this year so we rented flat in Ramsau insted of Schladming where the rest of the Polish crew stayed. We played yet another Pro Evo Soccer 5 tournamnet and went to bed. Saturday welcomed us with beautiful weather so we went to Gletscher as fast as we possibly could. At bout 9 the park was already really crowded. Lot of people came. Perfect weather and nice park is enough to attract big crowds of people. Park itself was much better than a last year. More obstacle, more lines, more fun. So there was big kicker ( bit smaller than last year) and funbox or kinked box in first line. Two small kickers and smaller funbox or triangle wall ride in second line. Plenty of different rails and boxes. And if this is not enough for U there was a beginner park on second slope. And also something like corner or table top at the bottom. Beacause of strong wind blasts the jam was shorter than it was intended to be. The tricks or the efficiency of the tricks was bigger than it was last year. And of course all the stars of european ( David Benedek, Sani Alibabic, Rudi Kröll , Wolle Nyvelt , Cheryl Maas ) and polish ( Marek S±siadek, Kamel , Gumowy, Kordek , Dianka, ¦wie¿ak, Karpiel Bros, Janek Krzysztof , Kala i Micha³ Nikliñski ) snowboarding where at Pleasure Jam. Just after competition the wind was so bad that everybody went to bar and than to home. In the evening we went to Schladming to Sondenbar to see what is going on. It was really crowded. So many people came to have fun. But we've decided to go back to ramsau and rest before photo and movie session on Sunday. Unfortunatly Sunday welcomed us with snowstorm. We couldent even go to park. The lift was closed due to strong wind ( 100 km/h). We didnt manage to do a single shot in park so we r still planing to visit Burton Park in Dachstein this month for sure.Any way Pleasure Jam was really good event again and definietly it is a place to be next year.
