I've picked up Powder/Nimbus crew ( John-writer , Adam-photographer , Erin-cinematographer, Eric and Chris ) from Kraków Airport last Sunday. We did some sightseenig of old town and the Wawel castle and went straight to Zakopane cause it was snowing really hard there.Next morning we meet our guide there - Jednrek Osuch - and went to Kasprowy Wirech. It was heavy fog there so Jendrek showed us some nice pillows and other cool features in the woods near Goryczkowa. We've spent good times there doing some mellow lines, powder turns and jumping out of pillows. At the end of the day it started to snow heavy so it was good sign for next two days of our stay in Zakopane.Tuesday turned out to be almost as foggy as Monday and even worse with the wind so we went back to the woods of Goryczkowa. Snow was way better than on Monday and fresh pow covered all of our tracks. We did some nice jumps over the trees and super good powder turns so we got some nice footage.Later that day we went to see Zakopane and to eat some local food at main street - Krupówki. Unfortunatly it happed to be our last day in Zakopane. Wednesday was super windy and peak of Kasprowy Wierch was closed. We packed our cars ( which Fiat gave us specially for this trip) ate amazing pizza at Szymek's pizzeria called Europa and drived to Slovakia.I have to say that we were really lucky at Kasprowy Wierch not to pay fine for skiing out of bounds. TPN ( Tatra's National Park ) got crazy and lot of Park Guards r looking for people skiing out of bounds and chasing them. Fines are up to 500$ so it is really bad. Slovakian reasorts have no problem with BC or freeriding so no we r stoked to go there.
