Newschool Gathering 06

Newschool Gathering is rather meeting of freeskiers than a competition. It is all about meeting friends,chilling and having good time at the beginning of the season. At least it was the idea. And it worked really well.We came to Dachstein on saturday after a long night trip from Poland so to be frank I dont remember to much but I know that the jib comp was held that day. And I remember that the tricks in final were really big! The winner and king of the gathering at the same time was Fabio Studer and queen was Christine Huber . Ofcourse after comp there was big party in Schladming but we were to tired to go there. But I heard that it was sick. Next day ( sunday ) cash 4 style event was held on table top instead of big kicker. Riders decided that the Kicker is to dangerous. Newschool gathering was about having fun so I think that it was right desison. Any way i prefered the kicker and I didnt participate in style for cash jam. I was hitting big kicker and we made some good shots this day. The kicker was really looped so U could go Big and High ( I think it was the biggest kicker so far at dachstein ). All the best austrian and german riders were at Dachstein. Lots of sick trick during the jam. ( switch 9 nose, switch 7 and 5 truck etc.).Gathering was nice event and for sure it is place to be at the beginning of the season for every freeskier. Me , Kamel and Bendzio have stayed for 3 more days to use good weather and BIG kicker. Good desision. Many nice shots. Check the gallery and visit Gathering next year. Fuck Yeah!
